igubal EGLM FC – hygienic and robust for the food and pharmaceutical industries
The igubal EGLM FC spherical bearing in the E dimensional series is specifically designed for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The housing material is made of igumid FC, a magnetically and optically detectable polymer, which is suitable for temperatures from -30°C to +100°C and can withstand short-term temperatures of up to +140°C.
The spherical ball material of the EGLM FC can be selected, with iglidur A181 and FC180 being available. These materials provide the bearings with a long service life without the need for lubrication. This significantly reduces maintenance and ensures reliable and continuous performance.
The FDA- and EU 10/2011-compliant EGLM FC spherical bearing offers reliable compensation for misalignments and edge loads. It features high damping capacity as well as very good vibration dampening, making it ideal for rotating, oscillating and axial movements.
The igubal spherical bearings are an outstanding solution for a wide range of applications where high performance, freedom from maintenance and insensitivity to dirt are essential.
