The flush-mount variant of the PRT-02 line. Built around an anodized aluminum outer ring with iglide® J4 sliding elements, this version adds a factory-integrated spacer ring that lets you bolt the bearing onto a flat panel without machining a pocket, breakthrough, or clearance hole into the mounting surface. It carries forward all the core PRT-02 advantages — low weight, low cost, and dry-running operation — and adds the higher tilting moment capacity that the aluminum outer ring provides over polymer alternatives. Based on the proven PRT-04 spacer-ring design, scaled into the lighter, more economical PRT-02 design.
When to use it: Mid-duty rotary applications mounted on flat panels or plates where machining clearance for a standard slewing ring would add cost, complexity, or simply isn’t feasible — and where aluminum-grade tilting moment capacity is needed.
When not to use it: When the host structure already accommodates a standard PRT footprint, when motorized drive integration is required, or when industrial-duty stiffness calls for the PRT-01.
Application areas: Panel-mounted pivots in light automation, monitor and display arms, lab equipment, kiosks, and any rotary mechanism installed on a flat surface where breakthrough holes or counterbores aren’t an option.
