xiros® self-aligning ceramic ball bearing with PEEK cage

The xiros® self-aligning ceramic ball bearing is designed to compensate for shaft deflection without creating mechanical stress in the bearing. Zirconium oxide rings and balls are combined with a PEEK cage for smooth, low friction and low vibration operation, while testing shows up to 25 times longer service life compared to self-aligning plastic ball bearings. 

This one has a stronger story than the last product because the self-aligning function gives us a very clear application benefit, rather than just a material upgrade. It is also one of the new ceramic bearing additions called out in the autumn xiros® news lineup.
