The toothed motorized configuration in the PRT-04 product line. The aluminum outer ring carries factory-machined teeth in any of three commercial timing belt profiles (T10, AT10, HTD5M), and the specially widened outer ring also serves as the surface that carries products. The inner ring is fixed while the outer ring is driven, giving the cleanest possible motorized interface in a bearing that’s still 60% lighter, 50% more compact, and 20% cheaper than the equivalent PRT-01. Replaceable iglide® J sliding elements, full PRT-04 modular system compatibility, cleanroom-capable.
When to use it: Mid-duty motorized rotary applications driven by timing belt — packaging and assembly cells, light automation, conveyor turntables, and any belt-driven pivot where the PRT-04’s weight and cost advantages over heavy-duty alternatives matter.
When not to use it: When the drive profile may change later (use the bolt-on toothed add-on ring instead), when extreme corrosion resistance is needed (specify the -ES stainless variant), or when an inner ring drive is preferred for compactness (use the toothed inner ring variant).
Application areas: Belt-driven indexing tables, light packaging and assembly machinery, conveyor turntables, automation cells, lab and medical rotators, and any mid-duty rotary application powered through a timing belt.
