chainflex® servo cable CF270-UL-D

The chainflex® CF270.UL.D is a medium-duty PUR servo cable for moving applications that face oil, coolant, and demanding environments. Its halogen-free, hydrolysis- and microbe-resistant jacket adds notch resistance and near-unlimited oil resistance, making it the robust upgrade from PVC for harsher indoor and shaded outdoor machinery, with the up-to-four-year chainflex guarantee and a higher UL/CSA AWM temperature rating.

When to use

• You need a medium-duty servo cable with strong oil and coolant resistance.
• Your machine runs indoors or outdoors without direct solar radiation, including washdown or contaminated areas.
• You require a halogen-free jacket, cleanroom compatibility, or DESINA and offshore-qualified materials.
• Typical fits include machining units and machine tools, and low-temperature applications.

When not to use

• For very high mechanical loads or long travels, step up to CF27.D.
• Where only light oil exposure is expected and a PVC jacket keeps costs down, consider CF210.UL.
• For light, low-duty flexing only, the iguPUR-jacketed CF897 is a simpler fit.
