iglide® J260 is the high-performance workhorse of the tribofilament range — the material to print when a moving part has to last. In igus testing, printed J260 plain bearings proved as wear-resistant as injection-molded parts in the same material, with abrasion resistance up to 50 times higher than standard 3D-printing plastics. It also has the widest operating window in the range, from -148°F to +248°F, so it holds up in cold chambers and hot environments alike. The trade-off is processing: J260 prints at high nozzle temperatures (around +500°F to +518°F) and rewards an experienced operator, making it the expert's choice for demanding, production-grade wear parts.
