All our lead screw nuts are made of the wear-resistant iglide® high-performance polymers. There are seven different standard materials available for different purposes: iglide J - high efficiency at all speeds, iglide J350 - for temperatures up to +150°C, iglide A180 - FDA-compliant for the food and pharmaceutical industry, iglide E7 - for high speeds with low loads, iglidur R - anti-oscillation and anti-vibration, iglide J200 - the best counter partner for aluminium and iglide W300 - for heavy-duty applications.

The base material is additionally reinforced with technical fibers or fillers. The solid lubricants are microscopic particles, embedded in millions of tiny chambers of the material. This is adequate to sufficiently lubricate the immediate surrounding area and to reduce the friction of the system. These additives significantly stabilize our lead screw nuts for wear resistance.
