Built for heat that would degrade a standard sliding compound. The hard-anodized aluminum housing is paired with iglide® H1 sliding pads rated for continuous operation up to +180°C — well beyond what the standard J compound supports. H1 also brings improved chemical resistance, making this the right call for warm process environments, drying ovens, or any rotary application near a heat source. All other PRT-01 advantages carry over: very high load capacity, high rigidity, replaceable pads, maintenance-free operation, and full compatibility with PRT-01 accessories.
When to use it: Heavy-duty rotary applications with continuous operating temperatures up to +180°C, or where chemical exposure exceeds what iglide® J can handle reliably.
When not to use it: When operating temperatures stay within iglide® J’s range (use the standard PRT-01 for lower cost), when FDA compliance is the requirement (use A180), or when ESD conformity is needed (use F2).
Application areas: Heat-exposed packaging machinery, drying ovens, plastics processing, foundry-adjacent equipment, hot food processing, and any heavy-duty rotary mechanism operating in elevated-temperature or chemically aggressive environments.
