A stainless steel housing — the highest-rigidity housing option available in the PRT-01 lineup — is paired with electrically conductive iglide® F2 sliding pads, achieving full ESD conformity through the bearing rather than via grounding straps or secondary hardware. The stainless construction also delivers the heaviest-duty load capacity in the family and full corrosion resistance for harsh and washdown-adjacent environments. Very high load capacity, high rigidity, and maintenance-free operation are all preserved.
When to use it: Heavy-duty rotary applications requiring ESD conformity, especially where stainless steel construction is also required for corrosion resistance or maximum load capacity.
When not to use it: When ESD compliance isn’t required (use the aluminum J variant for lower cost), or when FDA compliance is the priority (use the A180 variant).
