The remote-actuated indexed-locking configuration in the PRT-04 product line. Same 90° indexed locking and 350 N holding force as the standard -ART variant, with an adjustable Bowden cable up to 5 meters in length that lets the operator release the lock from a guarded enclosure, an ergonomic distance, or a hard-to-reach mounting position. The release unit uses an M20×1.5 thread for clean integration into machine panels and operator stations. Provides all the standard PRT-04 advantages and is fully compatible with the rest of the modular accessory ecosystem.
When to use it: Indexed mid-duty rotary applications where the lock can’t be reached or shouldn’t be reached from the bearing position.
When not to use it: When the operator can reach the bearing directly (use the standard ART variant for lower cost), when electronic state monitoring is the priority (use the -ART-PD variant), or when a custom actuator interface is needed instead of the supplied cable (use the -ART-U variant).
Application areas: Guarded automation cells, operator workstations with ergonomic constraints, hazardous-area installations, distant-mount bearings, and any indexed rotary application where direct access to the lock isn’t safe or practical.
