When to use it: Upgrade scenarios where an existing PRT-01 installation needs to be replaced with a lighter, more compact, more economical PRT-04, and redesigning the mounting plate isn’t an option.
When not to use it: When the design is new (use the standard PRT-04 footprint for the most efficient layout), or when the application doesn’t already have a PRT-01 hole pattern to match.
Application areas: Upgrades and refurbishments of existing PRT-01 installations, legacy machinery modernization, field replacements where the host structure can’t be modified, and any retrofit project where matching the original mounting interface is the binding constraint.
