A cream-colored roller built for the upper end of speed, temperature, and chemical exposure. H1 is the performance leader of the iglide® belt roller line — it has the highest PV value at 22,800 psi·ft/min (nearly double the standard-temperature materials), highest max recommended surface pressure at 11,600 psi, and the widest temperature range at -40°F to 392°F (-40°C to 200°C) continuous service with short-term tolerance up to 464°F. The material brings high chemical resistance and the lowest moisture absorption of the family (0.1%), making it the standard choice when transport speeds, belt tension, ambient temperatures, or aggressive media would push the other materials out of their service range. This is the roller you specify when the application demands it, not as a default.
When to use it: High-speed conveyor lines, applications with elevated continuous or ambient temperatures, heavily loaded belts, and any installation where chemical exposure or harsh ambient conditions would defeat a standard-temperature roller.
When not to use it: When the application requires direct food contact (use A180, A250, or A160 depending on the load, temperature, and cost profile), or when a standard-temperature universal roller is enough and the H1 performance margin would go unused (use P210 for a more cost-effective general-purpose option).
Application areas: High-speed materials-handling lines, heavy-duty industrial conveyors, automotive and tire production transfer systems, chemical and process industry conveying, hot-environment packaging machinery, and any non-food-contact installation where the operating envelope rules out a standard-temperature roller.
