CFSPECIAL.572 is the shielded top-drive cable of the range — the same aramid-reinforced, DNV-approved, offshore-rated design as CFSPECIAL.562.PE, with a braided shield for EMC-critical top-drive hanging applications up to 50 m.
When to use it: Shielded top-drive hanging applications up to 50 m under high tensile strain — offshore and oil-and-gas top drives where EMC control and a suspended, MUD-resistant cable are both required.
When not to use it:
- When no shield is needed (use CFSPECIAL.562.PE)
- When it's a standard in-chain machine drive connection rather than a hanging application (use a conventional shielded PUR motor cable such as CF27.D)
Application areas: Shielded oil-and-gas top-drive hanging installations up to 50 m, offshore drilling equipment, and suspended high-tensile-strain drive connections needing EMC control.
