iglide® P210 – round bar stock

iglide® P210 is a versatile triboplastic for moist environments, combining low friction with low wear on most shaft materials. It handles edge and shock loads and performs well in oscillating applications with medium loads, supporting reliable, dry-running operation.

When to use it: For economical, universal bearings in damp or splash zones that need steady friction and wear on many shaft types.
When not to use it: For hard-anodized aluminum optimization consider J200; for gear stock favor P360.

When to use bar stock:

• No matching size in the iglide® catalog
• Small quantities or special dimensions
• Tribo-optimized plastic needed for low friction and wear on a chosen counterface
• High compressive strength or elasticity required
• Rapid prototypes or design iterations
• Nonstandard or complex geometries

When not to use bar stock:

• A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
• Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
• Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
