iglide® J200 – round bar stock

iglide® J200 is tuned for very low wear on hard anodized aluminum shafts, delivering exceptionally smooth running at low loads. It supports long service life with dry, clean operation where lightweight aluminum designs and quiet motion are priorities.

When to use it: For low load bearings on hard anodized aluminum shafts; when low friction and long life on aluminum are critical.
When not to use it: For polymer or steel shaft optimization, consider J260 or J; for higher loads, consider W300.

All iglide® bar stocks are self-lubricating and maintenance free, ideal for prototypes, low-volume runs, and geometries outside standard parts. igus® can also machine custom parts from bar stock with quick turnaround.

When to use bar stock:

• No matching size in the iglide® catalog
• Small quantities or special dimensions
• Tribo-optimized plastic needed for low friction and wear on a chosen counterface
• High compressive strength or elasticity required
• Rapid prototypes or design iterations
• Nonstandard or complex geometries

When not to use bar stock:

• A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
• Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
• Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
