iglide® H3 – round bar stock

iglide® H3 is a high-temperature endurance material for washdown areas that pairs very low friction with stable wear at low to medium loads. It withstands splash zones, steam blasting and aggressive cleaners while keeping moisture uptake low for consistent, quiet operation.

When to use it: For lightly to moderately loaded parts in hot, humid zones that see frequent aggressive cleaning.
When not to use it: For steam-sterilizable medical components, consider HSD350; for maximum chemical headroom and compliance, consider A500/AC500.

When to use bar stock:

• No matching size in the iglide® catalog
• Small quantities or special dimensions
• Tribo-optimized plastic needed for low friction and wear on a chosen counterface
• High compressive strength or elasticity required
• Rapid prototypes or design iterations
• Nonstandard or complex geometries

When not to use bar stock:

• A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
• Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
• Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
