- Easy replacement and extension: modular construction kit design
- Driving the easy way with gear profile or drive pin for couplings
Change Language :
In the PRT-04 with drive pin, a radial drive pin on the outer ring couples directly to a cam, crank, motor coupling, or actuator linkage — providing a simple mechanical input interface without gears, belts, or external brackets. Provides the product line’s full set of advantages: 60% lighter, 50% more compact, 20% cheaper than the equivalent PRT-01, with universal iglide® J sliding elements suitable for cleanroom applications. Combine with a gear profile from the rest of the modular system for hybrid drive arrangements.
When to use it: Mid-duty rotary applications driven by a cam, crank, lever, or direct motor coupling.
When not to use it: When the application is belt or gear driven (use the toothed outer ring variants), when no driven input is needed (use the base PRT-04 for lower cost), or when the linkage interface needs to sit in a different position than the integrated pin allows.
Application areas: Pneumatically-driven indexing fixtures, lever-actuated rotators, cam-driven oscillation mechanisms, motor-coupled rotary stages, and any mid-duty rotary mechanism actuated through a mechanical linkage rather than a belt or gear.
