In this PRT-04 variant, standard through-holes in the outer ring are replaced with M4 tapped holes, letting the bearing be installed from one side of the host structure without rear-side nuts or backside access. Particularly valuable for sealed enclosures, panel-mount installations where the back of the panel isn’t accessible, and any assembly where eliminating fasteners on the underside simplifies the build. Provides the full set of PRT-04 advantages and is cleanroom-tested in a Fraunhofer IPA-compliant laboratory.
When to use it: Mid-duty rotary applications mounted to enclosures or panels where rear-side access is restricted, where back-side fasteners would interfere with other components, or where single-side assembly speeds the production line.
When not to use it: When through-holes work fine (use the standard PRT-04 for lower cost), or when an even larger mounting flange is needed (use the -G variant).
Application areas: Sealed enclosures, single-sided panel installations, automated assembly where rear-side access slows the line, food and packaging machinery with hygienic enclosure requirements, and any mid-duty rotary application where back-side nuts aren’t an option.
