iglidur® H | High temperature and chemical resistance

iglidur® H is a fibre-reinforced thermoplastic material that was specially developed for applications in high humidity or under water. iglidur® H can be used completely lubrication-free; when used in wet areas, the surrounding medium serves as an additional lubricant. Suitable for temperatures up to +200°C. Very low coefficient of friction in conjunction with hardened shafts.

Typical application areas

  • Beverage industry
  • Medical technology
  • Offshore
  • Shipbuilding

When do I use it?

  • For use under water
  • When high temperature resistance is required
  • For high mechanical loads
  • For use in contact with chemicals

When should I not use it?

  • When the highest wear resistance under water is required
  • When the best universal chemical resistance is required
  • For the highest compressive strength at higher temperatures
