chainflex® motor cable CF886

CF886 is the shielded version of CF885 — the same low-duty PVC motor cable, with a braided overall shield added for the EMC control that variable-frequency and servo drives demand. It's the pick for clean, dry indoor drive connections where interference has to be kept off nearby signal lines.

When to use it: Light flexing of shielded motor and drive connections indoors — VFD- and servo-to-motor runs where EMC matters, in packaging, handling, and general automation that stays clean and dry.

When not to use it:

• When no shield is required and you want lower cost (use the unshielded CF885)
• When the cable will meet oil or coolant (use the oil-resistant CF210.UL)
• When you need higher mechanical load or longer travel (use the shielded CF31)
• When a single shielded conductor is required rather than a multi-core cable (use the single-core CF886)
