chainflex® motor cable CF885

CF885 is the entry point to the chainflex® PVC motor cable range — an unshielded, low-duty cable for connecting drives and motors in energy chains where the flexing is light and the setting is clean and indoor. With a basic flame-retardant PVC jacket and no oil resistance, it's the economical pick for gentle, low-cycle motor connections rather than hard continuous motion.

When to use it: Light, low-frequency flexing of three-phase motor and drive connections in clean, dry indoor machinery — VFD-to-motor runs in woodworking, stone processing, packaging, supply systems, and handling equipment.

When not to use it:

• When you need an EMC shield for the drive connection (use the shielded twin CF886)
• When the cable will meet oil or coolant (use the oil-resistant CF210.UL or the iguPUR CF895)
• When the application needs higher mechanical load or longer travel (use CF30), or when a single high-current conductor is required rather than a multi-core cable (use the single-core CF885)
