CF891 is the shielded version of CF890 — the same low-duty iguPUR cable for cold, oily, and shaded-outdoor environments, with a braided shield added for EMC-critical runs. It shares the full oil resistance, the -40 °C (-40 °F) flexing and -50 °C (-58 °F) static cold rating, the +80 °C (+176 °F) e-chain® ceiling, the 12.5 × d minimum bend radius, and the UL/CSA and UL-verified approvals, adding noise immunity for control and signal lines in harsh-environment machinery.
When to use it: Light flexing in cold, oily, or shaded-outdoor settings where EMC matters — shielded control and signal runs on coolant-exposed machine tools and low-temperature equipment.
When not to use it: When no shield is needed and cost matters (use the unshielded CF890), when the flexing duty climbs to medium or high or needs more speed or travel (step into the PUR family such as CF78.UL), when the run is dry, clean, and indoor (use the shielded PVC CF881), or when it involves continuous torsion (use CFROBOT2).
Application areas: EMC-sensitive control and signal runs on coolant-exposed machine tools, cold-store and freezer equipment, and shaded indoor/outdoor handling systems where oil and cold rule out PVC.
