CF130US is the North-American-market workhorse of the PVC range — a low-duty, unshielded cable carrying a UL Tray Cable rating for exposed run (TC-ER) for NEC-compliant installations, with an oil-resistant PVC jacket that also stands up to UV and outdoor exposure. It bends to a minimum 8 × d in the e-chain®, runs hotter than the rest of the PVC line at +5 °C to +80 °C (+41 °F to +176 °F) in moving e-chains (down to -20 °C / -4 °F fixed), and is rated oil-resistant per DIN EN 60811 / 50363-4-1. That combination of TC-ER approval, oil resistance, and indoor/outdoor capability makes it the default low-flex control cable for machinery built to US codes.
When to use it: Low-duty flexing in machines built for the North American market that need a TC-ER tray-rated cable, light oil or coolant contact, and indoor-or-outdoor placement — packaging, supply systems, and general handling equipment.
When not to use it: When you need a shield (use the shielded CF140US), when the duty climbs to medium or high mechanical load or longer travel (use CF150.UL or CF5), when a cleanroom rating matters more than oil resistance (use CF130.UL), or when conditions demand a tougher jacket against chemicals or sustained outdoor wear (move to PUR-jacketed CF77.UL.D or CF78.UL).
Application areas: NEC-compliant machine builds, packaging and material-handling equipment, supply systems, and indoor/outdoor installations where a tray-rated, oil-resistant low-flex cable is specified.
