CF160.UL is the shielded version of CF150.UL — the same oil-resistant, UL-listed TC-ER medium-duty PVC cable, with a braided shield added for EMC-critical runs in warehouse and machining automation. It keeps the 7.5 × d minimum e-chain® bend radius, the +5 °C to +70 °C (+41 °F to +158 °F) range, the light-oil resistance, and the indoor/outdoor (>+5 °C) capability, adding noise immunity where control and signal lines run near drives in tray-cable installations.
When to use it: Medium-duty flexing with light oil contact where both a UL tray rating and an EMC shield are needed — shielded control runs in storage-and-retrieval systems, high-bay warehouses, and machining centers.
When not to use it: When no shield is required and cost matters (use the unshielded CF150.UL), when you need higher speed, longer travel, or higher load (use CF6), or when the jacket needs to withstand harsher chemicals or sustained outdoor exposure (step into the PUR family such as CF78.UL).
Application areas: EMC-sensitive control runs in storage-and-retrieval and high-bay warehouse systems, coolant-exposed machining and packaging units, and shielded tray-cable installations.
