CF99 is the shielded version of CF98 — the same heaviest-duty, small-radius (4 × d) TPE cable in fine cross-sections, with an extremely bend-resistant alloy-wire braid (approx. 70% linear / 90% optical coverage) for EMC-critical runs. It shares the PVC- and halogen-free TPE jacket, the bio-oil resistance, the -35 °C to +90 °C (-31 °F to +194 °F) range reaching -55 °C (-67 °F) static, the speeds to 33 ft/s (10 m/s), and the cleanroom rating (ISO 14644-1), with the shield built to survive tight, repeated bending.
When to use it: Fast, small-radius flexing of fine, shielded control and signal lines in tight, clean installations — compact handling, pick-and-place, and lab or semiconductor automation needing EMC protection in minimal space.
When not to use it: For new designs, use the current successor CF99.PLUS, which bends even tighter (3 × d) and adds low-temperature flexibility; when no shield is required, use CF98.PLUS; and when long travel matters more than the smallest radius, use CF10.
Application areas: EMC-sensitive compact pick-and-place and handling machines, laboratory and semiconductor automation, cleanroom equipment, and fine shielded runs in space-restricted installations.
