CFSOFT2 is the shielded version of CFSOFT1 — the same highly flexible, soft-design cable bending to 5 × d for fast, short-stroke motion in tight spaces, with a braided shield for EMC-critical runs. It keeps the soft, low-force construction, the speeds to 33 ft/s (10 m/s), the oil resistance, the cleanroom testing, and the +5 °C to +70 °C (+41 °F to +158 °F) range within e-chains®, adding noise immunity for sensitive signal and control lines in compact, fast-cycling machinery.
When to use it: Fast, short-stroke flexing in tight installations where small radii, low cable forces, and EMC all matter — shielded runs in pick-and-place machines, automatic doors, and quick cleanroom handling.
When not to use it: When no shield is required and cost matters (use the unshielded CFSOFT1), or when the application needs a jacket rated for outdoor, high-temperature, or chemically aggressive service (step into the PUR or TPE families such as CF78.UL or CF9).
