When limited space in machine tools complicates the installation of an energy chain, igus® energy chains can also be integrated into the machine structure as upright or suspended designs. Vertically upright energy chains are a familiar configuration on a wide range of equipment and CNC machines, in particular for stroke motions. Rigid mounting brackets are used as an optimised attachment of the energy chain in vertically upright applications. This prevents the e-chain® from swinging to the inside or outside.
