Our linear actuators make converting rotary motion to linear motion easier than ever, and do so without the aid of external grease or lubricants thanks to self-lubricating iglide® plastic bearing liners. Belt-driven, lead screw-driven, and rack and pinion actuators are available. The belt-driven actuators are rated for speeds up to 5m/s while avoiding frictional heat problems; the lead screw actuators are ideal for lower speed applications with heavy loads of up to 5,625 lbs(2,551.46kg); and rack and pinion actuators are suitable for many positioning and adjustment tasks while also remaining lightweight and quieter than recirculating ball bearing systems. igus® offers electrically driven actuators, which utilize electric motors, as well.
