Winner of the ROIBOT 2020: HTBLuVA Salzburg

Teleoperation saves travel time, but also enables the handling of hazardous materials and/or work in hazardous environments. It should be possible to control the mobile robot system with gripper hand intuitively with gestures. This is enabled by a glove that uses sensors to translate the user's gestures into movements for the robot and its gripper.

The special feature: the glove has to be very flexible to capture the different gestures. It is made of flexible plastic and was printed in 3D. To provide the user with a simple and mobile control mechanism, all the necessary electronic components, including the battery, are already integrated in the glove.
