With the new hybrid cables CF280.UL.H207.D, we are expanding our portfolio to include SEW's Movilink DDI technology. A combination of energy transmission and data transmission. System data is transmitted in this cable by a heavy duty coaxial element. It can be used for applications with a bending factor of up to 15xd and is therefore suitable for use in a wide range of industries, from machine tools and material handling up to the automotive industry. The cable can be purchased harnessed or by the metre and can be used on the matching SEW motors without any problems. With 28 different types of hybrid cables, igus has the largest portfolio of hybrid cables in energy chains from stock. With this expansion, we are following the ongoing trend of hybrid technology and the combination of energy cores and data networks in one cable. Here, too, you can count on our usual advantages: up to 36-month guarantee, no minimum order quantity and no cutting charge as well as numerous approvals & standards which also characterise this innovation.
The business units, chainflex and readychain, develop and produce cables that are sold by the metre and dimension and harness cables with plug-in connectors for direct connection to electrical drives. As finished catalogue goods, we have 24 different cable harnesses for drive manufacturers and this, in up to 7 different cable qualities in order to achieve the best price-performance ratio for the application.

The application at IMA Klessmann shows that the hybrid cables from igus work well, shorten installation time and save costs.
