The plug-and-play version includes a power supply unit in addition to the robot arm with the control system integrated into the base. The igus® Robot Control (iRC) software can be downloaded free of charge. The open-source variant has no robot control system, power supply unit, or software, and the axis modules can be activated via CAN bus.

With the 7th axis kit, the workspace of common lightweight robots can be expanded quickly via digital inputs and outputs.

Bevel gears are used wherever movements and forces must be transmitted at right angles. The 1:1 ratio allows torque transmission almost without loss.

The cantilever axis from the Apiro® modular gearbox system is now available with a double cantilever axis. Works with motor drive or manual drive. The modules can be used in series or parallel with strokes from 60-1,050mm.
