Highlight: ReBeL gearbox system for cobots

Building your own service robot or buying a finished ReBeL robot

    Building your own robot

    • Build service robots yourself with the modular ReBeL gearbox system
    • 25% lighter than conventional strain wave gears thanks to igus® high-performance polymers
    • Start directly with the robot kinematics through fully integrated strain wave gears
    • Lightweight, maintenance-free components

    Buying your robot

    • 25-50% lighter than conventional multi-axis robots thanks to igus® high-performance polymers
    • Tested in the Low Cost Automation laboratory
    • Controllable with the igus® Robot Control, one control system for all robots

    ReBeL® robot arm, now smart

    igus rebel smart
The name "ReBeL®" stands for "Robotic embedded BLDC and electronics Link"
    • Condition monitoring for the ReBeL®
    • Smart application monitoring by means of reading out sensor and kinematics data
    • Dashboard connection in a local or external network, connection to PLC and plant monitor
    • Cloud connection for camera integration

The plug-and-play version includes a power supply unit in addition to the robot arm with the control system integrated into the base. The igus® Robot Control (iRC) software can be downloaded free of charge. The open-source variant has no robot control system, power supply unit, or software, and the axis modules can be activated via CAN bus.

      Seventh axis for all robots

      anyrobot seventh axis
With the 7th axis kit, the workspace of common lightweight robots can be expanded quickly via digital inputs and outputs.

drylin® delta robot as 2-axis kinematics

        Delta robot with 2 axes
        • For simple, fast and automated assembly tasks
        • Maintenance-free dry operation
        • Resistance to dust and dirt
        • Pre-assembled system
        • Precise positioning due to motors with encoders
        • Pick rate of 100/min due to low-weight components
          made of plastic and aluminium

What is new in igus Robot Control?
            • now movements are up to 90% faster thanks to more power and improved reaction times
            • PLC interface like Modbus TCP/IP; CRI interface
            • travel profile optimised with the "smooth" function
            • ROS packages are available
            • Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3
            • pre-configured projects for all igus single axes, SCARAs and AGVs
            • up to 50% time savings on programming thanks to the manual guidance function on linear robots and delta robots

              Apiro® bevel gear

              Apiro® bevel gear
Bevel gears are used wherever movements and forces must be transmitted at right angles. The 1:1 ratio allows torque transmission almost without loss.

Apiro® cantilever axis with double axis

Apiro® cantilever axis with double axis
The cantilever axis from the Apiro® modular gearbox system is now available with a double cantilever axis. Works with motor drive or manual drive. The modules can be used in series or parallel with strokes from 60-1,050mm.

                  Apiro® starter kit

                  Apiro® starter kit
Apiro® (Greek for "infinite") robot modular gearbox system, now available as a starter kit. Assemble your own robot, including instructions.
