The demand for reliable, energy-saving light solutions is growing. And: there is less and less room under the bonnet – brackets have to become smaller. Robots which are used in the casting process to pick the finished elements out of the moulds are equipped with numerous sensors and valves. The triflex® R system from igus® is used to protect their cables. However, the planned connection element was too big – the robot could not work. The solution: The igus® element system triflex® R series TRC.40 was adapted – made of aluminium, it is now slimmer following a slight moderation to the design.
