Maintenance-free polymer plain bearings in the fluid technology industry

In the flanged ball valves from Pister, maintenance-free plain bearings made of chemical-­resistant iglide T500 material ensure a continuous, even rotation of the ball valve and guidance of the ball.

Our iglide T500 plain bearings resistant to chemicals and temperature are also used in the ecoflow dosing diaphragm pumps from LEWA. Installed in the engine, they minimize wear on the piston rod pin.

During the infusion a steady movement must be performed. For B. Braun Melsungen AG, this required a particularly good coefficient of friction for the components in order to achieve smooth movement in the smallest possible installation space.
