Plastic Bearings, Shafting, and Cable Carriers Ideal for Heavy Duty Industries

Components in heavy-duty machinery need to be able to stand up to harsh environmental conditions, including exposure to dirt and dust, extreme temperatures, oil, and even chemicals. While metal bearings and cable management solutions like festoons or cable reels are popular within heavy-duty applications, they're far from ideal. Durable, dry-running plastic iglide® bearings not only eliminate routine maintenance for bearing points, but they're resistant to dirt, dust, and corrosion, and can withstand high edge loads and surface pressures of up to 36,260 psi.

e-chain® cable carriers offer a more robust system of cable management for heavy-duty machinery than festoon, cable reels, or other alternatives. These polymer cable carriers offer an extensive service life with low maintenance; resist dirt, dust, chemicals, UV radiation and corrosion; minimize noise and vibration; and can be used for travels of over 1,000m.
