Elevator technology

A steelworks in Iran ordered an elevator. This was to transport both people and materials. Technical requirements: The elevator must overcome a total of 100 metres – at 60 metres per minute, the working load is 2000 kg. Extreme climate conditions and intensive dust development require additional special solutions. Hoses with a large diameter were required, which are in themselves heavy in the lengths required for the distance. e-chains® from igus® with a corresponding guide housing were chosen.
