Not only in textile processing, huge and highly complex machines and plants work continuously and with high throughput. Every minute spent replacing defective components is expensive; every minute that the system runs free of interruptions is precious. Additional dust and fibers impair the operating characteristics.  ​

iglide® E offers very high endurance in these applications. Due to the specially optimized material composition, plain bearings made of iglide® have very low wear properties, which results in longer maintenance intervals and thus less expensive downtime.  ​
