GKF is a shaft surface with three times the corrosion resistance of zinc, nickel, and chrome plating. Ideally, GKF is paired with grease-free iglide® plastic bearings for dry-running, maintenance-free operation. GKF shafting also helps extend the lifetime of your iglide® bearings by up to 40-60% in aggressive environments with dirt, dust, corrosion, and high shock and impact loads.
