Our CF-ROBOT power cable has a torsion-resistant, tin-plated copper shield sheath, which is in contrast to conventional counter wound copper shields. The outer jacket material is a high-grade TPE mixture with excellent wear properties. CF-ROBOT cables are an ideal partner for triflex® R multi-axis cable carriers.
Torsion tests in the igus® laboratory with CF-ROBOT (type 037) in a triflex® R test rig against a standard Series 310 chainflex® continuous-flex cable with a 270° rotation angle revealed no damage to the CF-ROBOT cable, even after 2.5 million cycles. Shield damage was detected in the CF310-250-01 after 250,000 cycles.
