We are talking about ice cream: A production line produces different container formats that vary in length and width depending on the customer`s requirements. The smallest has a length of 160 millimetres. Seven carrier stations travel over a 20 metres long rail and three consecutive stations need to move against each other on a space of 165 millimetres. Energy guide systems of the series mircro flizz® from igus® guarantee safe guiding. Three from six e-chains® can be saved at the same time which reduces the production costs. The hygienic demands of the food industry are fulfilled by a special installation.
