igus has developed its own graphic programming interface (IME). Originally for the control of amaximum of 8 axes of the series Robolink W. NowRobolink D and Robolink RS are also possible! The softwareis available open source and free of charge. Using the software requires the indicatedhardware configuration (see Fig. 1).
Furthermore, the following control components (andothers) are suitable for the control ofigus joints with stepper motors:
**WAGO:**I/O system 750: controller PFC200,stepper controller 750-672 and incremental encoder750-631 (for RL-W)
**BECKHOFF*:**Controller CX5130, stepper controllerEL7047 (for RL-D)
