Corrosion-resistant toothed belt axis drylin® ZLW-1050-ES

Ready-to-install toothed belt axis

The new ZLW-1050-ES toothed belt axis made of stainless steel is being added to the igus® toothed belt axis product range. It features a slim design and corrosion resistance. Its axis distance of 50mm makes it extremely compact and ideal for use in small installation spaces, as a single axis or in parallel operation or linear robot structures. The stainless steel makes the ZLW toothed belt axis extremely corrosion-resistant, robust, and suitable for long, maintenance-free operation. The ZLW toothed belt axis linear carriages are equipped with drylin® liners made of iglidur® E7, ensuring good running performance without maintenance. The liners are self-lubricating, so they are very easy to clean. The belt is a neoprene toothed belt with glass fibre reinforcement and an RPP 3M tooth profile. The belt tension can be conveniently adjusted on the carriage. For high-frequency applications such as 24/7 use, suitable linear plain bearings are available for quick bearing replacement (a matter of seconds). The liners can be replaced easily without dismantling the system.

The open modular design of the ZLW-1050-ES is also an ideal solution for applications in areas such as the food and beverage industry, medical technology or in environments with specific hygiene requirements. On request, the bearing points can be equipped with FDA-/EU-compliant liners.
