The demand for reliable, energy-saving light solutionsis growing. And: there is less and less room under thebonnet – brackets have to become smaller. Robotswhich are used in the casting process to pick the finishedelements out of the moulds are equipped withnumerous sensors and valves. The triflex® R systemfrom igus® is used to protect their cables. However,the planned connection element was too big – therobot could not work. The solution: The igus® elementsystem triflex® R series TRC.40 was adapted – madeof aluminium, it is now slimmer following a slight moderationto the design.
