Car body construction

To protect the electrical and pneumatic cables and supply hoses of the robots from rotating movements and welding sparks, igus has developed the triflex R dress pack. It easily copes with multi-axis movements, is easy to install or repair and simple to adapt.

Paint shop

The paint shop is a sensitive environment. No foreign bodies may contaminate the paint and explosion protection must also be observed. In addition to e-chains made of particularly abrasion-resistant material, we also offer several models made of conductive ESD material.

Drive train

E-powertrain/hydrogen

Welding and gluing robots are a key component in the automated production of electric and hydrogen drives. These precise machines are characterized by high maneuverability and speeds. Dress packs, which are assembled on the outside of the robot, should be movable but at the same time reliably protect the cables and material hoses even with a small bend radius.

Final assembly

Final assembly is where the finishing touches are applied to the production chain. However, the demand for trouble-free processes is no less stringent here than at the start of production.
