Hydraulic cylinders are used in sluices to open its gates. Hydraulic hoses inside the jointsensure this movability. There are two possibilities to fix them: They either sag or they are fixeddirectly above the joint. Both cases lead to rapid wear due to friction and continuous stress. e-chains® from igus® can guide the cylinders around the joint and protect them. Also electricalcables can be thus integrated.
