Our service life calculator for sliding elements made of wear-resistant iglide® plastics allows precise determination of how long the sliding plates will continue to function under the environmental parameters indicated before they need to be replaced. The iglide® Expert Tool was developed to calculate the service life of plain bearing bushings and can be used to approximate the service life of sliding plates. Just make sure that the surface speed (m/s) and surface pressure (N/mm²) match.
