The most cost-effective solution that works is the best. This description concisely characterises the drylin® econ series, a ready-to-install entry-level series for simple positioning and adjustment tasks. It is highly efficient in operation and cost-effective for a quick amortisation. The central components of the econ series are black (WWP) linear carriages made of igus® high-performance polymers and silver anodised (CA) linear rails.

All econ linear plain bearings and linear carriages are 100% lubrication-free and maintenance-free and are manufactured cost-effectively with the igus® injection moulding process. This saves time and costs compared to mechanical milling, especially in high-volume production.
