Flange Bearings

Flange bearings consist of a plain bearing within a mountable housing unit, which provides stable and secure positioning while still allowing the bearing unit inside to rotate freely. igus® flange bearings are made from self-lubricating iglide® plastic materials that promote maintenance-free, dry operation for a wide-range of applications and requirements. Due to their universal design and range of material options, iglide® flange bearings can handle medium to high loads at various speeds within highly corrosive or harsh environments. Unlike metal, iglide® composite plastic materials allow for exceptional vibration-dampening and noise-reduction while maintaining superior wear rates with no requirement for external lubrication. All of our iglide® materials are rigorously tested within our 41,000 square foot test lab to ensure long life and efficient operation.
