Grease-free and hygienic plastic parts used to build medical furniture

Medical furniture — think patient and treatment chairs, a nursing or hospital bed, operating tables and lamps, or support arms — place the highest demands on all moving components. Our bearing technology for flexible adjustments as well as e-chain® cable carrier systems for safe cable guidance are specially designed for medical facilities. They are resistant to chemicals and free of grease and maintenance, and therefore offer maximum availability in daily use. Intensive care requires particularly reliable systems with easy and precise adjustability, which is a key feature of our linear components in particular. Our polymers are also vibration and noise-damping, a necessity for patient-facing furniture to reduce anxiety or discomfort stemming from loud noises or heavy vibrations during adjustments.

With precision being such a major element in medical furniture, being able to manufacture components via machining is a huge advantage. That’s why we offer bar and plate stock in a wide range of materials, as well as subtractive manufacturing services to create the exact component you need.
