Product description
3-axis delta robot
Based on a modular system, users can choose between a compact DIY modular kit or pre-assembled in a transport frame. Now with calibrating pin for easy positioning at the zero point. The fixation takes place directly on the recording star and simplifies the calibration process.
The cable clip for the delta robot was developed for safe cable guidance, for example, of individual pneumatic hoses along the coupling joints. Easy to fit, lightweight.Technical details
  • 660mm workspace diameter with 180mm of working height
  • Pick rate of up to 30 per minute
  • Self-lubricating, maintenance-free drylin® ZLW toothed belt axes
  • Ready to connect with stepper motors and a dryve D1 motor control system

Typical application areas
Handling, pick & place, robotics, automation

Control system
The linear robot can be controlled by our igus® Robot Control directly with all its advantages. If you want to use your own (robot) control system, that's no problem either.

Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, you need one motor control System per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system which controls the coordination of the movement. You must then program the inverse kinematics for the delta robot yourself on your development environment. Not particularly convenient but feasible.
The motor control systems are not part of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. Master control system is currently not offered by igus.

Optional accessories
Proximity switches, connecting cables, energy chains and control systems are available upon request.
