Product description
Telescopic slides with electric motors offer reliable movements in automated systems, from self-opening drawers in service robotics or extendable landing platforms. The NTM-45 is the first ready-to-install and ready-to-connect motorised telescopic system from igus that is ideal for mobile applications.  Lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium forms the basis of the system. The system, which is available with an extension length of up to 500 mm, can be used to realise drawers with an extended length of up to 1,000 mm. Whether for goods deliveries, drinks, food or medicines. The system combines the diverse igus know-how, from the coating of the aluminium, the integrated drive technology using dryspin threads and toothed belts as well as the drylin electric motors and control technology. For the product, this means continuous lubricant-free and maintenance-free operation for a lifetime of quiet, low-vibration running.

Benefits:
  • New: Telescope with coated center rail made of PTFE-free iglidur® IC-05PF for excellent sliding and wear properties
  • Infinitely variable extension length up to 500 mm (extended length 1,000 mm)
  • Tested service life: NTM-45, horizontal installation position, extension length 200 mm, load 75 N, speed up to max. 0.05 m/s, dryspin® thread DST 8X10, result: 300,000 cycles
  • 100% self-lubricating, 100% maintenance-free, 100% PTFE-free, PFAS-tested

Notes on technical data:
  • E (max.): for L = 150 - 199 : E (max.) = 2 x L - 200 (partial extension), for L ≥ 200 : E (max.), possible = 2 x L - 200 (over-extension)
  • Value L for E (max.): for L ≥ 200 : E (max.), recommended = L (full extension)
  • h4: max. thread depth of the screw for the fixed rail
  • h5: max. thread depth of the screw for the movable rail

Available initiator kits:
  • INI-AB-I-025-B-AA (PNP | 24 volts, M8 plug, normally closed)
